GEMS information and technology department provides advice and support in technical network issues, website enhancements, cost-effective hardware, software and systems, including methods and procedures for disaster recovery, safety and security solutions, effective IT lab layouts and staff training.
Aqaba International School boasts two modern ICT suites. The school has good wireless connectivity to the internet and students are encouraged to use this resource. All students from Grade 1 upwards have a minimum of two IT lessons per week to ensure good exposure to this technology from an early age.
The school has a number of interactive whiteboards which are used by students across all year groups.
A full time IT Manager ensures full functionality of all IT computers and equipments.
