The school offers ongoing careers education and guidance programmes. Form teachers are appointed to classes at each grade level and are the first point of contact for counselling of any form. Form teachers provide appropriate pastoral care and ensure the well-being and safety of their students.
Because of the demands on timetabled time due to the requirement to deliver Arabic, Social Studies and Islamic studies in Arabic to Jordanian students, Personal Development and Citizenship are integrated into normal lessons taught by the class teachers to help develop the skills of young people so that they are able to make informed decisions about their life.
The school runs an innovative 'work experience day' for students at all levels to give them an opportunity to sample life out 'in the real world'.
When the school expands into the upper years, more formal careers sessions will begin prior to students making their GCSE course choices. The Library contains a wide variety of printed and electronic media, and the guidance process will continue as students choose senior level courses and as they begin to select universities for higher education.
