PICTURE THIS- recording observations using a variety of methods including photography and collage, illustrators. MOTHER NATURE-DESIGNER- explore line, shape, colour and texture in natural forms as a basis for textile design/collage/applique. CAN BUILDINGS SPEAK?- prints/rubbings of shapes/patterns, relief sculpture. |

CONTAINERS- develop own vessel design and build a 3D form, using cultural stimuli and work of different ceramists. TALKING TEXTILES- make a 2/3D textile work based on a familiar story/legend/myth using a range of techniques/materials to create pattern/texture. |

CHANGE YOUR STYLE- synthesise own ideas from contemporary design to make a new, creative form of textile, ceramic, 3D or body adornment. \Influence of art on fashion and design. PERSONAL PLACES, PUBLIC PLACES- explore public art in own area, research how ideas, values and beliefs have been represented, making a mural or 3D form for a public area. |
